I haven’t played in my art journals in awhile so decided to finish up a page I had started a long time ago. I haven’t been feeling very creative lately and think getting out the journal is helping to get me out of my funk.
I may have to take a page (unintended pun lol) from your book Debbie and just get in there and do some journaling too. It’s been so long since I’ve journaled (same funk I think), that I can’t even remember the last time! I hope this helped to cure you ❤
I bought her video and watch all of the on-line videos she shares on her blog. You can find her videos on Pinterest too. I love her work. Painting on paper is one of my most favorite things to do.
I felt in a funk too and I’m now thinking it’s just a recalibration, a time to get clear about possible new directions for the year. but…it’s true…everytime i push through the funk and journal, I feel better…wishing you lots of inspiration
Oh, this is lovely. I’m just a complete newbie to art journaling myself. I’ve joined a new online faith-based arts community (http://his-kingdom-come.com/) which I’m hoping will help me grow and learn.

Art journaling is a great way to jump-start ideas. A sketch or doodle may lead to something that was waiting for you to let in!

Hey, just went to look at Jane Davies. Exciting stuff on her site. Did you do a class with her?
