I have been so busy lately and haven’t had much time to do a blog post or read other posts. I thought I would do a quick post and share a painting I created by watching a Life Book 2016 bonus lesson given by Tamara LaPorte. When I saw the painting she had made, I thought that I would never be able to paint flowers like that. While mine isn’t near as pretty as hers and others that did the lesson, I still enjoyed painting it and it was much easier to do than I expected.
Happy Sunday!

Beautiful work! I especially love the puffy texture and almost sparkly quality you achieved in the blooms. This is one of the lessons I had to skip and which I hope I can find time to return to.

Thanks Laura. It was a fun lesson and much easier to do than I thought it would be.

They are exceptional. I love that diffused appearance, it is as though looking at flowers in a meadow through a morning mist.
